Here at Gather Co we want to ensure that the gap between your screen and our surfaces is bridged. As such, we have developed this Texture Guide to provide a general understanding of the finishes across our collection and to offer a sense of the ‘feel’ you can expect from each variety.
*Please note: This is intended as a guide only. Some surfaces may sit outside the prescribed finish as stated below. It is not a Slip Rating, you’ll find that in the “Resources and Installation” section at the bottom of each product page.

Its dense profile and extremely durable qualities encourage limitless application around fireplaces, feature walls and even external poolside facades.
• Sourced from the rocky Nankai region in China
• Light brown and beige granite requiring little maintenance after installation
• Low water absorption makes it highly suited for use around pools
• Low light reflective qualities provide a natural addition to indoor and outdoor spaces

Nankai - While China’s famous Ming Dynasty was centred in ancient Nankai, the modern district sits inside the sprawling city of Tianjin and is home to several universities, museums and international tourist attractions. This contrasts with its nineteenth century role as a military garrison against foreign invasion.
Granite - A popular choice for interior and exterior, Granite is an igneous rock made up of between 20% and 60% quartz. Granular and phaneritic in texture, colour varieties include grey, white and pink.
