Here at Gather Co we want to ensure that the gap between your screen and our surfaces is bridged. As such, we have developed this Texture Guide to provide a general understanding of the finishes across our collection and to offer a sense of the ‘feel’ you can expect from each variety.
*Please note: This is intended as a guide only. Some surfaces may sit outside the prescribed finish as stated below. It is not a Slip Rating, you’ll find that in the “Resources and Installation” section at the bottom of each product page.
Quarried from the rolling mountains of Chinas Fujian province, this silver-grey granite is a variety capable of enduring all that is thrown at it. Being an igneous rock, quartz makes up a percentage of Soto’s composition and makes it hard enough for application in both exterior and commercial applications.
Displaying an off-white canvas speckled with a lightly coloured hue of soft greys and blacks, Soto’s pallet sits directly between our Cook and Banks granite families.
Subtle and neutral in nature, silver grey granite makes for a perfect base to support more obvious features in any design.
• Subtle colouring makes it compatible with most designs
• A high quartz content offers considerable durability
• Weather resistant
• Suitable for commercial applications

Well known for its production of Chinese tea it is also a direct link to Taiwan which sits just 180 kilometres away across the Taiwan strait.
